Pinterest Favs #4

Hey guys, sorry for not posting last week, everything got really crazy! But nevertheless I am back and ready to talk about new autumn fashions I found on Pinterest this week.

These two outfits are perfect for autumn, and more importantly they are perfect for class because they are super comfy. In the outfit on the left there is a baggy shirt with three-quarter length sleeves that is bound to be really comfortable. The scarf is really cute, and the print is perfect for autumn. It will also keep you warm on those really chilly days. The riding boots are cute and very stylish for autumn for autumn 2013. In the outfit on the right it is also bound to be comfy because this sweater looks large and soft, not one of those sweaters that are itchy. The shoes are also perfect for walking a lot on campus because they look like Sperry Top Siders, and those are very comfortable and perfect for autumn.
Going along with what I was going on about last week about how a little black is very important for ladies. This one is more versatile than the one I spoke of last week. This is a classy little black dress that can be worn out to plays and what not in autumn or winter. With black leather boots, some jewellery, and a clutch it's perfect for night activities. The coat is good for night activities also because it is dressy. It can also be worn for a day time activity without the coat, and  with a cute pair of black heels or flats. Adding a white or maybe black lighter jacket on a chilly day would also work.

These dresses are both 1950s inspired, and are of the "pin-up girl" style which is another of my favourite styles. I love the black dress on the left because of the lace texture and the collar, and the heart shaped hole is all cute and perfect for autumn. Especially the texture is perfect for autumn. With a cute coat, maybe a short white pea coat and some black oxfords or flats would be cute. The other would be more suitable for spring because of its vibrant colour. With white or brown strappy heels, or some white tights and tan or white flats it would be a really cute outfit perfect for Easter Sunday.
These boot cuffs are so cute and perfect to go at the top of boots in the autumn. The lace is just absolutely to die for and would be perfect with some riding boots. They would add a vintage to any outfit.
These are the perfect autumn/winter heels. The colour and suede texture are perfect for these cold seasons (and of course the have a bow so I love them anyway)! They would look cute with an A-line skirt and a cute girlie button up shirt with a collar and some nice gold jewellery!

Pinterest Favs #3

Hey guys! Time once again for my favourites of the week, and like I promised I picked mostly things that are good for autumn! May I just say how excited I am that it's finally sweater weather! Autumn is my favourite season and these fashions are perfect for the cold weather!
This is definitely the find of the week, and my ultimate favourite of the week. It's a cute vintage style dress with a lace collar and under skirt. It has cute white buttons matched with a white belt with a BOW on it! (Hehe of course my obsession continues). The long sleeves make it perfect for autumn! This outfit would look great with pearl stud earrings, flats or oxfords, and maybe even white stockings with lace at the top! I just love the vintage vibe this outfit gives off! It's simply amazing!
This is another dress I found and can be made into a great autumn outfit. This dress was pinned on my "Wedding Wishes" board because it's a cute simple bridesmaid dress, but I thought it was also a really cute dress that could be worn anytime, not just for a wedding. With some flats or riding boots and a white or brown cardigan this could be a great outfit for a teacher (there's the future teacher coming out in me). This is a great autumn dress because of the colour and lace texture.
This jacket is so adorable and perfect for autumn! The rolled up sleeve look works well with the jacket, and the front looks so classy. The back is so cute and playful with the bow (of course hehe) and the pleating! Another pro for the jacket is that the sleeves are a little bit poofy which adds to the girlieness of the jacket.

Every girl needs a black dress that is versatile and can be pulled out for anything or any occasion. Yes, this dress may not be the greatest for autumn, but it is a great little black dress. This one is a little sexier, so it's not completely versatile because sometimes you just need to look classy. Maybe if you put a jacket that covered the back of the dress it would be fine, or even putting a long grey cardigan over it and adding a coloured belt like purple or pink would make it look great and even dress it down some. Adding some flats or black ankle boots would look great and even help make it suitable for autumn.
Of course I couldn't deprive you guys of this magnificent dress (even if it's for spring hehe). This dress is so adorable with it's scoop neckline with lace, it's sheer bodice, and it's pleated skirt. It's the perfect girlie dress. With some gold jewellery and a pair of tan flats, white oxfords, or white strappy heels this outfit would be complete!
These earrings couldn't stay out of this week's post because they are stunning! With a golden trim and a mint stone they are perfect and can go with anything. Especially since mint is such a popular colour. They could also add just a hint of colour, without being really noticeable, and a bit of sparkle to an otherwise dull and neutral outfit. These studs are great, even for girls with a more simple style.
Rather than sharing a makeup look this week I decided to share makeup storage tips because nobody likes to come back and find the their powder is cracked and crumbled in the tin. After all I am a firm believer that "there is a place for everything and everything has it's place." A makeup storage unit is always a good option as the bottom half of the picture suggests. It keeps things nice and organised and separated, but of course it's not very practical for travel. If you travel a lot you should keep your makeup in a makeup bag. I'd suggest to place everything carefully so that powder, blusher, and bronzer don't break. They should be placed on the bottom with everything else on top to assure that they stay in place.

Well that all for this week! Sorry it's later in the week I've been a little under the weather, but now I'm feeling good and happy to finally put this post up!
