Pinterest Favs #2

Hey guys! It's time for my favourites from Pinterest this week! Unfortunately I didn't find many things that were suitable for autumn, but I did find some great outfits for winter! I also found some things that would be great for summer. Wow I'm getting way ahead of myself trying to rush the seasons! Also, I've found some accessories and makeup tips/styles that I'm sure you guys will love!
The first thing I found on Pinterest was this lovely outfit! For starters the jacket is super cute! This colour is great for autumn and makes the season brighter! Next the dress is absolutely amazing! The A-line skirt part is my favourite shape, and the print just adds to the amazingness of the dress! The bracelet is great because it is simple and not too flashy. If you wear jewellery that's overly blingy it will make the outfit too busy and will clash with the pattern of the dress, but with simple pieces like the bracelet it will add enough sparkle without over powering the adorable print of the dress. With a pair of brown heels or even ankle boots, this outfit would be complete.
These two outfits don't exactly scream autumn. They are both winter outfits, but the dress could be worn in the autumn if the right accessories were added. For autumn the dress could be paired with black tights or ankle length leggings with black/gold flats, black ankle, boots, or even a pair of black/gold heels. For winter I'd wear a cream long sleeved t-shirt underneath with black leggings or tights with a pair of tall black boots, riding boots or boots with heels doesn't matter. With gold jewellery and a gold clutch this outfit would be complete. As for the outfit to the right, I just love it for winter. It would be perfect to walk in the park in the evening or to go to a play. It would also be great for Christmas dinner because it's classy. I love the vintage Victorian era vibe the outfit gives off. It's like a dark romantic feel which is great for winter! With some silver jewellery this outfit would be complete!

These two items are also not exactly for the autumn weather, but they'd be super cute for spring or summer! The dress on the left would be the cutest for a date during the day when you just feel like looking super cute. With some silver earrings and maybe a simple bracelet this would be a cute outfit. Top off the outfit with some neutral flip flops! Going simple with the jewellery and shoes are key because the dress, even though simple, is super adorable and you don't want to take away from it!! Even pinning a small bow in your hair would be cute with the dress. The top on the left was so in style for spring/summer 2013 and hopefully will still be in 2014 because they are super cute. With a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, heels, flashy gold jewellery, and a gold clutch this would be the best night out outfit! Make sure to take extra shoes though because you're feet may start to hurt after a while!!
Back to autumn, these boot socks are to die for! They are a fabulous neutral grey colour, so they will go with absolutely anything! They also have a bow at the top which is great for me because I have a slight obsession with bows. Basically if it has a bow on it I will most likely fall in love with it and might purchase it, which is good for my closet, but not so good for my wallet... But back to the socks, I could see them going with a cute high-waisted A-line skirt or with a pair of skinny jeans that aren't dark or light wash but more medium wash? These would be a great autumn accessory item!

This week I found two pairs of shoes that I couldn't help but to share! The pair on the left are very adorable wedges with bows on the sides! They would be great for a night out on the town in the spring or summer seasons because they are a white or maybe cream (I can't really tell) and it's just overall a more spring/summer shoe. The pair of shoes to the right are super cute for autumn or winter! I love the strap around the ankle because it's gold, but it's not JUST gold. It's a more metallic gold which makes this heel easy to wear in a professional classy setting and for a fun flirty night on the town as well. These heels would be great with a cocktail dress for formal or homecoming as it is that time of the year. They are also great because they don't look too high, so hopefully they wouldn't get too uncomfortable, but ladies the number one rule in wearing heels is that if you think you're going to need extra shoes, YOU WILL! NEVER second guess your instinct!

These are the fabulous makeup looks I found for the week! The eye makeup in the picture on the left is so cute and very simple. Going very neutral with the eye shadow is great just for a casual day, like just going to classes or something. Then after applying black eye liner to the top lid, if you do an accent of gold on top it makes it look special and different because not many people do their eyeliner like this. Doing this would change your look up and would make people notice you and you could also receive a compliment or two which is always nice. Now the picture on the right is Lime Crime lipstick, but this isn't just any lipstick. This is a matte lipstick that is velvety. Yes, I know this may seem a bit weird, but honestly I would love to try it out because it would be a different kind of.... experience per se. I also really love red lipstick and am always willing to try new things!

That's all of my favourites for the week! I'll try my best to focus only on autumn trends next week since it'll be the real first week of October and we are really starting to get some cooler weather, but I'm not making any promises. Pinterest Favs #1

Hey guys! This week on Pinterest I have found lots of fashions that I'm very excited about, and I just wanted to share them with you and give you my personal insights on the outfits and how I would wear them. I'll also give advice on how to change the outfit for different situations and incorporate some of the pieces with other pieces of clothing. I'll also include a makeup tip or specific look that would be worth a try.
This coat is an absolutely amazing piece that would be a fabulous addition to anyone's wardrobe. It would look great with a pair of dark skinny jeans and riding boots. If you decide to layer with a plain white long sleeve t-shirt underneath then I would wear a large necklace which would be practical for dinner or to go to the movies, or even to be outside all day like at an orchard/pumpkin patch. You could also add a cute scarf and put layers under it for a cool night at a bonfire.

These outfits are very in style for fall 2013. In the picture on the left the outfit is cute and perfect for a day at the mall or for a girls night on the town. Personally I would wear jeans that didn't have holes in them because I'm not really into holes anymore, but the jeans in the picture look great. I would also probably wear a pair of riding boots and maybe some boot socks. If the jeans didn't have holes in the picture it would be great for a summer job interview, or paired with khakis would be great for a professional job interview. In the picture on the right the outfit is the perfect casual outfit for going to class, or going for a day out. Both of these prints do go well together, but personally I don't really like to mix patterns hardly ever. I would wear either a solid jumper with the cheetah print button up underneath, or a solid button up underneath the polka dotted jumper. I love the gold jewelry that's with the outfit, and also the flats are to die for.
When I found these shoes on Pinterest, I wished that my closet was exactly like my Pinterest boards, but then again who hasn't thought that at least once? I fell in love with the shoes! My love for vintage style is definitely expressed through these shoes. I can picture an adorable A-line skirt and a solid long sleeve button up shirt with a solid jumper over the button up which would be tucked into the skirt. Maybe even a pair of thigh high stockings with lace at the top. This look would be complete with gold jewelry and the perfect cat eye makeup!
Now there were a couple of things I found that aren't exactly seasonal and the first was this coat. This is the best coat for winter. I love the gold buttons, and yes white isn't always the best colour, but I still love this coat. With a pair of furry boots and dark trousers, or dark skinny jeans this would be adorable to go to a play at Christmas time. A cute pair of leather gloves would also help to complete this look. The length will also help you to stay warm in the harsh winter air, especially walking to and from classes!
This is the second thing that I found that wasn't seasonal. Yes this could be an adorable fall outfit, but it would be much more practical for spring. I absolutely love the high-waisted skirt with the bow on the front, and the collared blouse that's paired with it is perfect. The coral cardigan goes perfectly with the girly outfit. The handbag and jewellery match so well with the skirt and cardigan and give it a really vintage vibe. While the heels are super cute and complete this look, I would probably wear a pair of flats or maybe even some oxfords to complete the vintage feel of the outfit. I might even wear my nude peep-toe heels that have a bow on the front. There are so many open doors with this outfit, and while autumn is my favourite season this makes me super excited for spring.
The last thing I found on Pinterest this week was a makeup tip! Ladies, instead of applying your concealer in dots under your eyes, make a triangle with strokes! It looks much more natural when it's blended with your foundation because it blends out into the cheek bone and doesn't look like you just caked it on under your eyes. I actually used this technique, and it looks so much better! It works especially well if you just need to pop some on right before class because it blends better with your skin as it's not as concentrated under the eye.

I hope you guys enjoyed my very first real blog post! I enjoyed making it and I will write again very soon! Kisses <3

Hey guys this is my first post and I just wanted to explain about why I created this blog.
It all started about a year ago when I subscribed to Zoella, SprikleofGlitter, and Tanya Burr on YouTube. They are all people who upload videos all about makeup and anything girlie with a few exceptions. I fell in love with them and couldn't stop watching and learning from them.
Another one of my slight obsessions is Pinterest. I have about four boards dedicated to my ideal closet. I love fashion and everything girlie so I decided to start this blog so that I could share it with loads of people and maybe help people discover how great fashion can be even if you feel like dressing down. I'm going to take my favourite Pintrest finds of the week/month and create a post about them every little bit. I'll even do seasonal photos of myself and show what I'll be wearing that season!
