Face moisturizer!

Hey guys! This time I am going to be talking about moisturizer for your face. Moisturizer is very important in the winter/cold weather because when it is cold outside your skin gets dry, and I think we can all agree that dry skin is not very pretty. As always this post is not sponsored. This is just a product that I used often, love, and wanted to share with y'all!

I use this moisturizer! It is made by Neutrogena (which is an awesome skin care brand)! This is the oil-free moisture lotion for combination skin. They make three different moisturizers; one is for sensitive skin, one is for combination skin, and one is basic with spf. I thought I saw one for dry skin in my local Walmart, so that may also be available. Just make sure you get one to suit your skin type.

Personally I have combination skin, so my choice was obvious. If you have oily skin I would recommend getting the combination skin one because it controls shine very well (at least it does for me), and maybe get a toner to go with it!

I use my moisturizer twice a day (if I remember)! I use it before I apply my makeup and before I go to sleep, and it works very well!

Next time I will be talking more about the products I use in my daily skin care routine, and explaining what each product is good for and why I personally use certain products. TOTAL BLOG MAKEOVER!!!

Hey y'all! So as you can see I have done some changing on my blog recently! Basically I realized that I post a lot more stuff about makeup and care (skin care mostly), so I decided to change from Splash of Fashion to Splash of Beauty because it fits better with what I like to talk about.

I love talking about makeup and products with my friends! I love recommending products to them for various purposes, and I love having them come back to me and tell that they liked the product. Or if they did not like the product I can tell people why some do not like it. I have a slight obsession with all things beauty, so here's to the future of Splash of Beauty!

The BEST "chapstick" EVER!

Hey guys! I am back just in time to tell you about the perfect product for the cold winter months. (Ps this post is not sponsered)! What is a girls best friend in the winter? CHAPSTICK! Dry lips/skin are the worst things about winter (unless you hate the cold), but I have found a product that will end this problem!

Elf lip exfoliator is Heaven sent! This product exfoliates your lips, getting rid of all the nasty dry skin! A word of caution, I have recommended this product to others many times, and sometimes people find that the exfoliation is too harsh and kind of hurts. Personally I think the grittyness of the product helps a lot and does not hurt at all. Another plus of this product is that it smells like Vanilla and goes on clear!
