Monthly Favorites-May 2016

Hey guys! So I am doing a new type of post this week! Products that I have been loving for the month of May. I know that many beauty bloggers do these posts, so I thought I would give it a try!
Of course my first product is my anti-frizz oil that I have been using almost everyday! There will be another post about this in the future about how I use it, and the most effective ways I have used it. But basically this product is the bomb, and if you want to know more and didn't see my other post about it go read it! It will tell you more about how this product works and how it can affect your hair.

My second product is my amazing new mascara! There is also a post about this amazing product as well. This mascara is light, doesn't clump bad, and is easy to take off. What more could you want in a mascara?!

My third is this ELF palette because I don't wear eyeshadow unless I'm leaving the house, and sometimes even when I leave the house I don't even put it on. I have  been wearing this one a lot this month since it's neutral and gives me options for a nice day look. I go more in depth in a post from several weeks ago about the colors in the palette, and other products that come with it.

I have also been loving this concealer because my skin has gotten rather spotty this month, and this covers all my spots with ease. Occasionally this product won't cover a really dark spot, but overall it does a great job! There is a post about this product as well!

Lastly, I have been loving this bath shelf that I got for my birthday! It is my favorite product I have been using this month, and there will be a blog post up soon with my latest obsession! It is the perfect bath accessory, and that's all I will say about it for now!

Thank you for reading! All my links are to the right for my social media accounts. Like, share, and comment your favorite product for the month of May! I'll see you guys next week for another post! Kisses<3

New mascara!

Hey guys! Now it is time to talk about my new mascara! It took me a good 10-15 minutes to pick out a new mascara, but I chose wisely in the end!
I chose the CoverGirl Lashblast Volume mascara. It lengthens my lashes, gives them volume, and is the perfect shade of black. I love the packaging and the bristles are perfect. There are no clumps when I put it on, and my lashes don't stick together! Throughout the day I never feel like my top and bottom lashes get stuck together. It feels as if I'm going au naturale!

This post is not sponsored, but I picked up this mascara and I had to share the awesomeness! If you are looking for a new mascara and you are unsure I highly recommend this one!

Thanks for reading! If you guys have any awesome mascaras that you love leave them in the comments! I love trying new products, and would love to hear your opinions. All my links are to the right as always! Like, share, etc. See you guys next week to talk about another bath product! Kisses<3

My old mascara routine! *cringe*

Hey guys! So this post is all about old habits....I cringe now whenever I think of this old routine. I used to use two mascaras. *cringe* (Not sponsored by these brands).
I used ELF lengthening and volumizing mascara and Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express. It didn't look that bad (or else I wouldn't have done it), but it definitely didn't look natural. It got clumpy, my lashes would stick together sometimes, and overall it was not worth the trouble. The ELF mascara did not add volume like it said, which is why I also used Maybelline Falsies. The Falsies got clumpy, and made my lashes stick together. Maybelline's mascara might have been different if used on it's own, but I never did that so I am not sure what it would be like.

Now I have one mascara. It looks natural, gives me length and volume, and I love it (post coming soon). Please, young girls learning to use makeup, do not layer your mascara. Using one good mascara works wonders!

The BEST anti-frizz product EVER!!!

Hey guys! What?! Two posts in one week?! Yes because I want to share this product with everyone! As you can guess by the title I am using a new anti-frizz treatment! (Not sponsored by OGX).
You have probably seen this OGX brand in local drugstores, and it is a great drugstore brand! This product is cheap and actually works! I used it on my dry hair, and wet hair while it air dried. It worked very well both times. I prefer to spray it on my dry hair, and brush through it several times. DISCLAIMER: DO NOT spray your roots. It makes your hair also look shinier, so it will make your roots look oily.

The Kukui Oil by OGX is magical, and make your hair noticeably less frizzy! Even when I have my hair straight it can look really frizzy, so this product is a lifesaver!

Thanks for reading! All my links are to the right in the side bar! Like, share, etc. There will be exciting new posts next week too! Yes, you read that correctly! Posts! As in two! One on Monday, and one later on Thursday maybe so keep your eyes out for those!! See you guys next week! Kisses<3

Review: Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo

Hey guys! Today I am here to talk about a staple for many girls in their weekly beauty routine! Dry shampoo! My favorite brand of dry shampoo is Not Your Mother's (I'm not sponsored by them I just really like this product).
This product comes in a larger can than most dry shampoos, and it's cheaper than other drugstore name brands. I have used this product for a several years, and I still love it as much as when I first tried it. I know a major factor for many people is how much white residue a dry shampoo leaves in your hair. Yes, this product leaves white residue. BUT this is not a problem! What I do to get rid of white residue is I will typically use dry shampoo the night before, and then sleep on it. That way while I twist and turn in my sleep it absorbs really well, and if I forget it absorbs easily so I never have a problem with the white residue.

Like I said before the can is large, but it is not too large. It is easy and light to hold while you are using it. I think this brand has great styling products. This isn't the first I have used, and I am sure it will not be the last one I try.

Thanks for reading! All of my links are still in the side bar to the right! Please like and share with your mom, sister, best friend, etc.! I will see you next time! Kisses<3

Review: Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer

Hey guys! Today I am here to talk about the magic that is concealer because let's be honest. As ladies we love this stuff! We apply it to cover up "problem areas," pimples, spots, dark circles under our eyes, etc.

I have never found a concealer that I loved, and for a really long time I didn't use concealer. Not because I didn't need it, but because I didn't know how to apply it. I tried a couple different brands, but I recently discovered Rimmel Match Perfection concealer and I have found concealer heaven!

This concealer is utter perfection. It works miracles on blemishes, spots, pimples, and red areas! However, it is not good for dark circles under the eye. Maybe it's the way I am applying it, but I do not use it under my eyes. I love it for blemishes though!
It has a nice little fluffy tip that makes application easy. I took a picture of my brand new one, so it would be pretty.

That is all I have for you guys this week! All my links are in the sidebar to the right. Please share this post, and I will see you guys next week! Kisses<3
