How to survive college

Hey guys! My first life post is all about how to survive college because I am a junior in college and I have survived thus far so I feel like I know a little something about succeeding in college. Here are a few tips to survive all four years of college.

1. Coffee
Yes coffee is the number one thing that will get you through college. No staying up late to finish homework is not the best idea, nor does anyone want to do it. However, it happens to everyone every once in a while (or every other night), so if you don't like coffee you need to find another source of caffeine (or just drink pop and get a sugar high). There are several coffee shops on and around campus at least at EKU, which makes getting your coffee fix easy!

2. Time management
You heard this all throughout high school and it is 100% true! Time management is key or else you will be doing assignments and study for tests at the last minute, so get a planner. It is seriously a life saver, and gets you organized!

3. Family/Friends

Basically you need a support system that will always be there for you when you have mental breakdowns about your future (which will happen because how can you be so young and making decisions for they rest of your life?!). These will be your life lines, and make sure you meet people and make new friends because that's the fun part of college!

4. Study
Yes I know it may be a bummer, but study and do your homework. That is why you are going into debt! For the education, so do your best. Don't waste your money. (And yes sometimes you actually have to read some of the textbooks).

5. That means for tests too!
Yes doing your homework is part of it, but you also have to study for tests. You can't neglect studying for a test because the tests are harder than high school. I never studied a day in my life in high school, but now I study my butt off for tests and it helps!

6. Go home
Sometimes you just need to get away from the craziness, so go home. See your momma and daddy and tell them you love them. Get a home cooked meal because you will get tired of pizza rolls, freezer meals, and Ramen I promise.

That's all I've got for this post! Let me know if you liked it, or if you have anything to add. This was a bit of a change from what I normally post, so I hope you all like it! I will see you all soon for another post!

My Obsession: LUSH

Hello friends! It has been ages since I have posted, but I think I want to start doing this again because I loved it and I miss it. I think I might give my blog another makeover soon, so keep an eye out for that. If you remember I had a couple posts of things I was obsessed with, and I have a new one.

For years I have watched YouTubers make up baths with colorful bath bombs, bubble bars, etc. I always wanted to try them because who doesn't want to have bright colorful bath water that smells amazing, and makes you skin feel soft and smell wonderful?! LUSH's bath bombs are definitely some of the coolest things I have ever put in my bath! I also haven't had regular baths since I was 6 probably, but bubble therapy is a real thing and it is amazing!

I got a LUSH package for Christmas from my family, and it came with five different bath bombs: Twilight, Dragon's Egg, Avobath, Big Blue, and Sex Bomb. They came in a package called The Great Balls of Bicarb.

Dragon's Egg was absolutely amazing! One of my favorites by far. It doesn't look as exciting as the ones with the brighter colors, but don't let its looks deceive you. When you drop it in it fizzles white for a while, but then it breaks and gets to the hollow part in the middle where bright orange starts to fizzle! WITH SPARKLES! Eventually your bath becomes orange and sparkley, and smells very fresh! The scent smells like citrus and sweets at the same time, which sounds weird but is amazing. I loved this bath bomb, and even though I was covered in glitter by the end of the bath it was worth every sparkle.

Sex Bomb smells wonderful. As you can see in the picture there is a rose, so it smells florally. I actually haven't used it yet, so I will have to do a review after I have used it. I am very excited to use it because everyone says it it their favorite.

Big Blue was also awesome. It turns the water bright blue with white bits because it is meant to look like the sea. There are bits of seaweed in it the float around in the bath water with you and makes your skin softer! It smells like lavender, and also has sea salt in it to make you feel like you are floating in the sea.

Avobath was not one of my favorites, but it was still amazing! It turns the water green and smells fresh. It makes your skin feel softer, which was really awesome!

Twilight was another one of my favorites! It turns your water many different colors like purple and blue and orange! There;s a hollow part in the middle with the other colors like blue and orange that are not on the surface. It smells wonderful like lavender which is one of my favorite bath smells! I really enjoyed this bath bomb, and I cannot wait to buy it again!

This bath bomb package was amazing because I could try out different kinds of bath bombs, and learned that even if they look boring the inside could be exciting so don't judge a bath bomb by its surface! I would recommend getting a package like this the first time you try LUSH because you can can try many different things and figure out what you like.

I want to try other lush products in the future like King of Skin, the charcoal face mask, bubble bars, and more! I will update with more reviews of LUSH products that I try in the future! By the way this post is not sponsored by LUSH. I just loved my bath bombs and wanted to share that with you guys, and get back into blogging!

I think I am going to do some life blogs about college and other things about life I think will be goo to write about and share. Let me know if there are any topics you want me to write about, and if I have that experience I will share my thoughts and experience! Be on the lookout for a blog makeover soon! Kisses<3
